At Credilio Gild, we deeply care about how your information is collected and treated. The purpose of this policy is to document our privacy practices across the following assets – the website, the Credilio Gild App on Google Play store , Credilio Gild payment authorization pages across different card networks. All the above-mentioned assets will be commonly mentioned as “Credilio Gild” or “Services” or “We” or “Us” or “Our” unless specifically addressed.
Credilio Gild operates under the Credit Card guidelines of the RBI and the underlying banking partner is SBM Bank (India) Limited which operate as a Scheduled Commercial Bank under Wholly Owned Subsidiary (WOS) mode offering banking services in India. Henceforth be referred as “The Bank” or “SBM”.
Credilio Gild Brand is the property of Credilio Financial Technologies Private Limited. which is a co-brand partner, Bank Correspondent (BC) for SBM Bank (India) Limited. M2P Solutions Pvt. Ltd operates as TSP for SBM Bank (India) Limited for the Credilio Gild Program. Credilio Gild Card is a Secured Credit Card or FD-backed credit card program.
All data / information pertaining to the program operation follows the data localization laws of India.
Interpretations & Definitions
The following terms have been explained to provide you better clarity, these definitions shall have the same meaning whether singular / plural.

Signing up for Gild:
To sign-up for Credilio Gild, a validated mobile number or email id is required. Credilio Gild App and/or website may collect the following non-PII information like, your device model, screen size, inferred demographics, operating system, inferred location, mobile network, your referring website source, your clicks, scrolls, ad click sources as data from our advertising & marketing partners
Registration, KYC & Account Setup:
According to the terms of the Service, any Indian citizen above 18 years of age and who doesn’t come under Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) is allowed to register for the Service.
Credilio Gild registration follows guidelines and information requests by the Bank. All / some the following information is collected from you during the account setup – valid mobile number, email address, date of birth, PAN, Aadhaar number, gender, marital status, mother’s maiden name, your live image, your location captured via GPS, nominee details, relationship with the nominee, card delivery address.
For payment completion for the deposit, the Service redirects you to our Payment Gateway partner which may ask for UPI ID, NetBanking information as deemed necessary. We may automatically create user accounts for you with our rewards partner SafeGold using PAN for a seamless rewards experience.
The following information is collected from third-party service providers with your consent – credit score, addresses already present with Credit Bureaus, cKYC information from CERSAI, any risk scores from the Bank or a service provider.
Information from Service:
We use this data to provide Opt-in communication and service messages.
We use data collected by analytics software to provide a better App / website experience and improve the Service. This software records information such as app errors, performance usage, bugs, clicks, events. These are non-PII information used to benchmark performance of the App.
Data we share
We may share your data under the following scenarios for efficient operational purposes or as required by the laws of the land.
Reporting To Credit Bureaus: As per The Credit Information Companies Act, 2005, we share borrower information, credit providing institution name, nature of credit, repayment information, defaulter reporting.
To Rewards Partner: For facilitation of redemption, reconciliation of accounts, validating offers at merchants.
To KYC partners: Registered partners who carry out KYC operations which may include the following – enabling cKYC, eKYC, vKYC, offline document collection orchestrations.
To Collection Agencies: Registered correspondents who may reach out to you over call, SMS, email, physical visit in the context of payment due collection
To legal entities: If required by law under special circumstances of cyber incidents or order of court or government agencies for the purpose of verification of identity, prevention, or investigation of fraud incidents or for prosecution / punishment of offences.
At Credilio Gild we take InfoSec very seriously and have implemented best-in-class industry practices to protect your information.
These include implementing Advanced Encryption Standards for data-in-rest and intransit, data storage access, retrieval process which is strictly controlled. Your virtual card information follows the PCI guidelines.
All direct program partners on Credilo Gild have been audited as per data localization guidelines laid out by the SAR audit.
We will retain your information for as long as it is necessary for providing you the services available on the App or Website or your request for termination of your account with us, whichever is later. Post termination of your account, we may continue to use your anonymized data aggregated or in combination with anonymized data of other users.
We use this aggregated anonymized data for data analysis, profiling and research purposes. We may keep your contact information along with your application details (if any) for fraud prevention purposes and for the exercise/ defense of a legal claim or for providing evidence in legal proceeding(s) if required.
Account Security & Indemnification
Your account is secured by credentials of the App and the Card, this confidential information should not be shared to any third-party or to Credilio Gild itself. We are not responsible if someone access your account through you or a violation by you. You agree to indemnify Credilio Gild harmless in such an event and any claims / damages /costs / expenses arising out this situation would not be reimbursed.
In the event of any dispute, difference or claim arising out of this Policy the same shall be referred to a sole arbitrator who shall be a neutral and suitably qualified third party appointed by the Parties mutually. The place of arbitration shall be Chennai. The arbitration proceeding shall be governed by the Indian Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 and any subsequent amendment to the act. The arbitration proceedings shall be conducted in English and the arbitral award shall be recorded in writing. The arbitral award shall be final and binding on the parties to the dispute.
